Jess Franco’s Marquis de Sade’s Justine Prepped for 4K Blu-ray

Blue Underground has announced that it is preparing a 4K Blu-ray release of Jess Franco’s Marquis de Sade’s Justine (1969), starring Klaus Kinski, Romina Power, Maria Rohm, Rosemary Dexter, and Jack Palance. The release is expected to arrive on the market early next year.

The label has also confirmed that the upcoming release will be sourced from a brand new DOLBY VISION/HDR-graded master and will feature exclusive new extras.

The upcoming release will also include the shorter DEADLY SANCTUARY cut in high-definition for the first time ever.

Romina Power (18-year-old-daughter of Tyrone Power) stars as Justine, a nubile young virgin cast out of a French orphanage and thrust into a depraved world of prostitution, predatory lesbians, a fugitive murderess (Mercedes McCambridge), bondage, branding, and one supremely sadistic monk (an outrageous performance by Jack Palance).
